Navio provides maximum flexibility and choice for content hosting — Navio can host your digital content, you can host it, or Navio will work with third party hosting providers on your behalf. Because consumers are ultimately purchasing rights to your content, it is much easier to just point to a file’s location for downloading rather than requiring the content to be hosted with the content management system.
Package and Protect
Navio is DRM-agnostic supporting both Apple iPodŽ-compatible (AAC) DRM and Windows MediaŽ (WM) DRM encoded formats for content providers who use Digital Rights Management (DRM) to protect their content from digital piracy. For mobile content, Navio also supports Open Mobile AllianceŽ (OMA) DRM.
Rights Builder
A powerful Rights Builder allows content owners to determine which rights are included with offers to consumers. Content owners can set up predefined rights for all content titles or create custom rights as needed. Merchants can group, manage, and apply rights in "rights bundles" that are supported by the Rights Builder service.
Offer Creation
A powerful offer manager supports a variety of payment types, including custom currencies and loyalty points. “Opt-in” offers can also be created to enable a merchant to provide products to consumers in exchange for opting-in to a marketing campaign.
Bundle Creation
Create an artist bundle consisting of a digital album, a ringtone and mobile wallpaper.
Value-add bundles may contain any number of different content types and be priced for promotions or discounts. Bundles can also include themed collections (based on an artist, movie or athlete for example) of mobile and digital content, regardless of where the content is located. Even rights to hard goods, such as an “artist fan-pack”, with a ringtone, video, t-shirt and tickets to a performance can be bundled into a compelling offer and fulfilled through both digital and physical channels.
